The Setting · 1:00pm May 20th, 2015
Well someone asked me the question of what exactly the setting of this story is, whether it's headcanon or someone else's canon, so I'll tell you guys
After the last chapter it is obvious it's during Luna's Fall but definitely not sticking to canon considering it took canon Sunbutt maybe an hour to banish Moony.
Night has fallen.
Equestria is plunged into civil war.
This is the Nightmare Rebellions
Instead, in this, there is a protracted civil war going on in Equestria with Sunbutt's legions fighting Luna's Rebels in the darkened fields and streets. Luna's troops are primarily hidden out in the countryside and forests in camps with her only main citadel being Hollow Shades while Sunbutt has all the major settlements under her thumb (Canterlot, Ponyville, ect...)
And in case you are wondering if Moony is going to be good ol' clichè darkness for darkness's sake; don't worry for both she and Celestia will have skeletons in their closet during this war. Afterall, history is written by the victors.
Dammit now I wish I could join the campaign. Being a fallen Solar guard would be an awesome background, White Knight type who finds his Loyalties tested as his once Virtuous mistress falls farther and farther into darkness as hate consumes her. His quest is to find a peaceful end to the war to restore Celestia's faith in Equinity.

Well, I already got all the player characters I need but I don't know if I'll need NPCs
Ponyville is a post-rebellion settlement.
That last image is pretty awesome! Can't wait to see what you got in store. Also, if you have any questions on Swift, feel free to PM me
