So famously excitable batpony Super "Supertramp" Trampoline just followed me. As usual, that's wonderful and I'm very flattered!

However, it also means I now have as many followers as Versimer, one of the authors I'm following. That is dumb, not because of y'alls (excellent) taste in predatory birds but because Versimer is a rad author and I am just some guy. Granted, Versimer's been pretty quiet, but "Post-SingulariTwi" is a fascinating (and terrifying) counterpoint to Friendship is Optimal (only on a thematic level; they're different continuities and no knowledge of FiO is required), and the one chapter of "Anthomania" that's been published is worth reading just for the bizarre premise.

Of course, Versimer is also one of my followers, so it's not like all of you can click that eye. But it's weird for me to have as many or more followers than, y'know, an actual author.

(Poking around my following list, it looks like the only other actual author with such a low count is mistaque1. I haven't read one of their two stories, and the other is a little more FiO-inside-baseball than "Post-SingulariTwi", but damn if "New updates are now available" doesn't have its own sort of impact for FiO readers -- either a very hopeful AU, or a very creepy canon story. Sorry if I missed someone else -- if I follow an author, it's generally for good reason.)
