This glorious portrait of valor crawled out of the depths of the comments to this blog post by FanOfMostEverything. Apparently Ferret and I have been "shipped". I'm sure the kind of Krazy Adventures (tm) that lead to a ferret riding a falcon could also lead to a ferret getting on the wrong end of a shrink ray. Makes sense to me!
