Relapse Update: Oops. · 10:30pm May 14th, 2015
As I was writing the newest chapter for Relapse, I sorta kinda accidentally overwrote chapter 3 (Can't beat my poker face.) with chapter 4. And I don't save local copies of my stories. I used to, but stopped because I thought it was making too much clutter in my documents folder because I didn't have an organized system for writing chapters of specific stories and putting them in groups.
Good news is I'm smrt and dug through the cache files of Google Chrome and salvaged the chapter.
Bad news is?
It looks like this:
...Yeah. That's kinda bad.
So it'll take a tiny bit of time to fix all the formatting, but the third chapter will be up and running soon. For now, I've unpublished the third chapter from the story, so you can't access it anymore. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Anywho, I'm about 50% done the newest chapter, including editing. I'm hoping to get it done within the next 4 days or so. Thank you for your patience.
EDIT: Chapter restored. It's up again. Sorry if I missed any format mistakes.
Have you tried a system of folders along the lines of mydocuments/fanfics/MLPFIM/ incomplete/ story name and in story name are the current chapters? If you want to group stories by genre all you should need to do is create a folder structure using shortcuts. for example in the folder structure I mentioned above you could have folders for genres/categories and just have those folders filled with shortcuts to the folders containing the chapters. That way you could have the chapters all in one neat little location but in essence have the same files in 'multiple' locations without any of that version management hassle.
Anyway I look forward to reading the next chapter.
