3059883 Our constituency has not had a Labour MP in its history — it's always been Lib Dem or Conservative, right back to when they were called the Whigs and Tories. As far as I'm concerned, the Labour and Green parties even putting up candidates was a waste of their time and money, only serving to split the left wing vote and let the Conservatives win the seat.
Given how close the vote was in our constituency, and how small the Conservative majority is in parliament, tiny things like this could have tipped the balance. By Labour, the Lib Dems, and the Greens deliberately pulling out of just 3 or 4 seats each, and not fielding any candidates for them, they might have prevented a Conservative majority government.
ahhh. aren't humanbeings wonderfull?
I agree with that. That is why I voted Labour

People should spake there mind and way they can. Matt is a perfect example.
I was gonna blog about my General Election experience, but I figured I'd have a hard time convincing anyone I knew what I was talking about. ^^
I see that Matt here shares the same view as me... Also shares the same name too oddly enough
