    It's been too long...

Hey there everyone, I know this is probably a surprise after my long, and sudden, hiatus.

So yeah... I'm still here, and I want to apologize for not updating the story in such a long time. I think I said it would only take a week to get out, right? And yet here we are nine months later and I got nothing to show for it.

    A Long Awaited Apology

    Hello my loyal readers!

I wanted to make this small blog to apologize for my tardiness regarding the next chapter of TAOAT. To put it bluntly I've been slowly digging a hole in my life and only recently did I finally get help and manage to drag myself back out. And even then, only about half way.

    A Formal Apology

To those of you who read the previous blog I posted in regards to the most recent chapter, I want to formally apologize for what I wrote. I was angry and frustrated with the way my story, and by extension myself, have been treated. I worded it in a way that put my readers in a negative light, and for that I regret what I have done.

Something new and suggestions for it. · 4:44pm May 10th, 2015

So let me cut right to the chase. For those of you who have read my story I'm sure you recall me mentioning the Ancient Language which is used to write the tomes Robin uses. This language is from Fire Emblem and is supposed to be a dead/dying language that only a few know how to speak fluently.

Now, thanks to the commitment of Fire Emblem fanatics, this language has been translated to English. Because of this, I plan on actually using it within the next few chapters. Using pre-made fonts, I installed the language into my computer's system files. This allows me to write out the language using the Roman alphabet (Modern English).

Of course, I've run into a few problems. While I'm able to alter my systems' language, I can't change the language of the internet. Well, I could, if Knighty allows me to physically alter the structural code of the website and allow the HTML to read and decipher a foreign and unknown text that's native only to a series of video games. I... don't have high hopes for that option.

So instead I plan on trying something different. I'll use Microsoft Word to write out the text, snip it, turn it into a picture, and post it right in the story.

And thus, I ran into my next problem. I uploaded the image to dropbox and attempted to add the image directly into the story. Unfortunately, it didn't like the link I gave and I couldn't get it to work. This is where I would really like some suggestions. I have not uploaded any images on this site and since this is my first story, I don't have much experience using the format.

Is it Dropbox that I can't use, or is it another problem? While not including the actual language won't take anything away from the story, it certainly will add to the experience if I can get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried creating a DeviantArt account? If you upload the pictures there they will then have an applicable URL.

I would say Deviant Art or Photobucket.

And huzzah for fanatics! I have no idea how VincentASM figured it out, but I am very grateful.

3059408 I do have a deviant art account, but I really only use it for favoring art. I guess I'd feel weird if I uploaded random crap that doesn't make much sense in the grand scale of things. But, if that's the only way for it to work, than so be it. Thanks for the help.

3059460 I guess I'll give Deviant art a try. And yea, it's insane that someone actually took the time to figure this out. My guess is there was a leak somewhere in history from the developers.

Also, updating the blog. Forgot to show what I managed to do to my computer.

I understand where you're coming from, but you'd be surprised at how much people enjoy looking at funny symbols and the like, given the chance. I mean, just look at Lord of the Rings and look at how many pictures there are with just a black background with all those funny 'elven-letters' in white.
