I write pony words. Millions of them. Some people actually think they might be worth reading. I am very thankful for that. Also, I have a Patreon now?

    My birthday

Today I turned 32. For reference, when I started on this site, I was a simple college student. Now I'm married with 4 kids. Time does fly.

    So I asked Gemini AI...

To summarize the story TD the Alicorn Princess. The result I got was... interesting.

    1. Fimfiction story: This story involves Peter Westmoore, a responsible college student, who is transported to the magical land of Equis and transformed into an alicorn princess named TD. He faces challenges adapting to his new life and ruling his nation.

    So...

As many of you well know, I'm a father of three. A four-year-old, a two-year-old, and a one-year-old. It's pretty great. Can be difficult, but overall a pretty big blessing. How my wife takes care of three kids five days a week is beyond me, as I have a hard time taking care of them two days a week when my wife goes off to work.

    So yeah...

    Editing help

Yes, I'm calling out for editors again. I want to submit a story to the Cozy Glow contest, and I want to make sure that the story I just wrote for it is good, or "wow, that's a jumbled mess of ideas, far too mean, and the ending is terrible."

Let me know if you'd like to help. Any extra eyes would be highly appreciated.

Has anyone ever read any... · 2:54am May 5th, 2015

of Robert Cormier's works? If you were like me then you had to read I am the Cheese in high school (around, say, sophomore year?) but what about some of his other stuff? I just finished re-reading The Rag and Bone Shop. 150 pages. Excellent, dark book. Very psychological stuff. Then there is, of course, The Chocolate War, and the sequel Beyond the Chocolate War. I just saw the movie of the former yesterday. It was fine until they completely changed the ending. Completely ruined Archie's character, and he's the best character Cormier ever wrote! Gah!

But yeah, I've read a fair few of his, and none of them are particularly uplifting, but boy did he know how to write people. Rag and Bone Shop, I am the Cheese, the two Chocolate War books, After the First Death, We All Fall Down, and I finally picked up Tunes for Bears to Dance To. He only wrote a dozen books, none of which are overly long, so it would be easy to read all of his stuff.

So yeah, anyone else familiar with him?

Now, on to FimFic stuff. I am working on The Prince. It's coming. Don't worry. I haven't forgotten about it. Also, I'm going to be, well, not updating a story I wrote, but looking back on one, I wasn't completely satisfied with the ending, which was a last-minute change, so I'm going to be giving you the original one in a new, short chapter. So yeah, that's what I'm working on.

Also, in Civ V, I played a worldwide map with only pony countries. Good grief, Saddle Arabia is aggressive.

3045778 You should look into him. Check out one like The Rag and Bone Shop or The Chocolate War first.

Sorry, I have never heard of him. I know more fanfic writers with stuff I like than actual authors. :twilightsheepish:

Yeah, I read I Am the Cheese and the Chocolate War, and it was long enough ago (probably 20 years by now D:) that I don't remember a damn thing about either. :B

3046356 I'd suggest giving at least The Chocolate War another look. I find it interesting that I really have no desire to read I am the Cheese again just because I had to for class. Eh.
