Okay, I want to call this a work of genius. A near perfect blending of MLP and 1984. Really nothing more to say about it. It is exactly what you should expect, written very well. An example of what fanfic is capable of. As well as being very, very silly.

This is a fanfic I’ve heard about from several sources. Glad to discover it is as good as I’ve heard. One of the best ‘right after Luna returns’ stories I’ve read. Plus plenty of funny bits, and Steve the river serpent makes an apperance. Which is always nice.

Lots of fun. Pretty much what the description says and pretty good execution of the premise. Cude humor and lots of implied, heavily implied, just off camera sex. I wouldn’t mind reading more stories in this version of Equestria with these characters.
What You Leave Behind by Blueshift

I thought I had read this, but apparently I either didn’t or just missed the ending. One of the many reaction fanfics after the season 4 finale. Just a little light fic, short and sorta fluffy.
Friendship is Optimal: The Longest Night by Eakin

I really like the FiO universe. It’s the best kind of logic puzzle scifi, kind of like Asimov’s robot stories. This particular FiO side story is quite good. As expected from one of my favorite authors. It is pretty much a demonstration of how easy it is to manipulate someone when you control time and everyone around them. The basic human brain is such a shoddy piece of equipment that direct control isn’t really needed to mess with it, if you know what you are doing. I did like that all the military guys thought that Celestia-AI would use various forms of torture to get what she wants. It shows that they really didn’t understand their enemy at all. I was impressed because the story didn’t end like I thought it would. It was a pleasant surprise.

If you know of a text-format reviewer I'm not keeping track of, please let me know and I'll see if they meet the criteria to be assimilated into the list.
If you are an author who wants a more detailed review of a story I've covered feel free to message me. My reviews tend to be fairly light, mostly just reactions to a story right after reading it. I am happy to give a more careful read and reply to anyone who wants more precision and/or feedback.
