Next chapter of Conquering of Love should be out this week · 8:23am Apr 26th, 2015
As the title says, i am aiming to get the chapter out to editors this week, which would hopefully lead to a release toward the end of the week.
As for the reason why it's not yet finished and out, my work life has been in upheaval and I have had to get my resume together and get plans laid out for a new job I am hoping to get.
Plus on top of that, one of my cats very nearly died. Her kidney - yes, singular, as we found out - went into failure and we were told she had slim chances of survival. However, she pulled through after three days of intensive care. She's still recovering, but she's very much back to her old self now. Throughout this, we found out that she only has one kidney, twice the size of a normal cat kidney since it's doing the work of two kidneys. Our whole house has been going through a deep sweep and cleaning. We are not sure what caused it, but it's almost surely something she ate, so anything that she could possibly get into has to be locked up, we have to be way more careful with our medications, and we have to deep clean the whole house to make sure there's nothing that could do it again, or do it to one of the other cats. (We have three cats)
So anyway, between the cat, my job, and the new job I am preparing for, almost all my hobbies have been tossed to the wayside. I should be able to write the rest of the missing bits from the new chapter in the next couple days, though.
Once again, to all the readers who have been loyally sticking with me this whole time, I thank you for your patience. I mean, it doesn't take much to follow a fic and wait for updates, but I know there's a few people out there who are fairly big fans of this thing, and I don't want to let anyone down.
Storyline stuff... allow me to give you some slight spoilers to tide you over. Linnai was seen using magic, and the one who saw her using it will confront her. Fluttershy will begin to have memories of things that she doesn't understand. We'll find out why Dash is in hiding and what affect that has had on the world. We'll find out there's an enemy in hiding where no one expected. And finally, Linnai and Mulcibar will both realize something about the reset swarm that they had not considered - Something that could turn Dash's entire dream world upside-down.
