How do I feel about this? Mixed feelings for me!

One hand sees this as Hasbro's attempt to throw many fics showing Babs' potentials for whatever right out the door by slapping a cutie mark on Babs in a totally unprecedented and unexpected manner.

On another hand, I always imagined her growing up with a show business career, so maybe it could possess a benefit. Maybe Babs could sing to customers who attend her barbershop and one day some talent agency may discover her and sign her to a big entertainment company. (Similar to real life - Tony Bennett got his first contract with Columbia when an agent there discovered his singing to customers as a waiter - at 88, Bennett has no plans to retire from show business any time soon.)
