FlutterSpike

FlutterSpike, the final frontier... No, but seriously, FlutterSpike is one of my top three ships (TwiSpike, SpikeBelle, FlutterSpike), and I have yet to include it in a single story. Do you guys want me to change that?

One FlutterSpike idea I've been bouncing around goes like this:
Spike is nearing adulthood and decides to move out. This was of course expected, but his announcement that he'd soon be moving to Manehattan was not. Unknown to the mane six, was the fact that, while Spike was honest in saying he wanted to get out and see the world, there was a second, much more pressing, motive for the large move.
Not too long after moving into his new apartment, Spike was surprised to find Fluttershy at his door. Soon after Spike had left, she had received her acceptance letter from the Manehattan Academy of Veterinary Medicine, one of the best veterinary schools in Equestria. She figured if she was going to be living in Manehattan, why not live with a friend?... At least, that's how it started.

I think playing around with this one like a romantic comedy might be fun...
