Ok, so I had this idea of forming a new mane 6, just for the fun of it.
The idea is that you have an OC who in some way can replace one of the mane 6 and their element.
Something like this:

Just for fun, if I can assemble a new mane 6 with two of each type and every element, I might make a short story from the show with the new mane 6.

Name: Blunt Edge.
Element: Loyalty.
Type: Earth pony.
Color: Dark Brown fur. White mane and tail with a single black stripe. Yellow eyes.
Personality/ small backstory: Strong, silent. Grumpy for the most part, but with a heart of gold and the soul of a noble warrior.
He was a gladiator who fought in an underground arena for years Before he left and came to Ponyville in search of a new purpose in Life.
Now, Ponyville is his home and he cares for everypony, even if he might be a bit rough around the edges.
Cutiemark: A sword.
Strength: His physical strength and his fierce loyalty to his friends.
Weakness: His bad temper.

-Hair: Pale yellow with small streaks of white through. Body: Pale orange.
Personality/ small backstory: She's quite considerate and kind at most times, and will pitch in to help almost anyone, but can get a bit annoyed when people don't respect her privacy. She does love to make people and feels really awkward and upset when people don't laugh or even smile at any of her jokes or acts. Oh, and just because it's vital, she loves to bake and actually runs her own store. Because she has no-one to help, she has led to doing everything herself and can be very stubborn at times. As for her family, they we're just as normal as any family, a mom, dad and two sisters. She left them to go to Ponyville about a year ago. However, currently her dad is dying slowly from cancer.
Cutiemark: A bowl of yellow icing with a whisk and a few sparkles :3
Strength: Can do many amounts of tasks without getting tired. She gained this slowly from many days staying up late to finish big orders. Now she barely feels any tiredness. Also, her ability to cheer people up with a smile.
Weakness: Despite this however she isn't fast, nor very strong or clever. She never did very well at school and she hated gym. All she really payed attention to was Home Economics. So hard tasks are not really the best. She believes she'd never be very good at saving the world or anything XD

Color:Lime green. Hair:Floor-long flowy brown mane with many stripes in different colors.Brown tail with an lighter ombre.
Personality:Sympathetic, loves to talk to and help friends and likes everyone as long as they are nice.Stands up for her friends and is strong when it's needed, loyalty is nr1, HATES cheaters.Always tries to be perfect.
Grew up in Cloudsdale, but had to move to a ancient city as kid because of poverty.Can be seen as a bit crazy sometimes, but that's because she has been through a lot.

Strenght:Very intuitive and creative, fast, ambitious.High morals.
Weakness:Moodswings, fears rejection and very easely hurt.Low self-esteem, perfectionist.

I don't mind it, but it's because I want them to be on equal footing, so to speak. Good job anyway. Also, feel free to make more OC's.

Personality/Small Back story: She is generous and kind, always ready to make a sacrifice for another, especially her adopted mother, Lemon Flower (My main OC). She had been abused in an orphanage, cut, beaten for the first 6 years of her life, but they were reported and Lemon Flower has the rights for her now.

Personality/backstory: He is generally kind, generous, honest, and loyal (actually, come to think of it, I modeled this guy's personality after mine, huh, never realized that until now) yet it is very hard to earn his trust as everypony he's known has betrayed him, his parents were unable to care for him and left him in a clearing in the Everfree forest at a young age. He managed to befriend a manticore, whom he calls Sephtis.
Cutiemark: cloak and dagger
Strength: is extremely stealthy and can blend into the shadows, can also Shadow Travel, which is stepping into a shadow and coming out of another at your destination, can see in the dark and is fast and agile.
Weakness: is easily blinded by light levels that would not bother a normal pony at all and isn't good at direct combat.

Yeah, I didn't have an idea for an element since I figured we should probably come up with our own instead of using one of the elements of the Mane Six, and besides, he's three so yeah, maybe the element of stealth? I don't know, he is currently a work in progress, most of that info about him I made up on the spot, he will be done within about a day since I am just trying to find an official name for him.
