Highly Recommend the new Sombra Origin comic. · 9:27pm Apr 8th, 2015
I just fished reading and was amassed by the writing. Sombra origin story has always been a ripe source for fan fiction, including My Mortal Big Brother. Wile of course, the comic does contradict the establish MMBB cannon regarding (Who the Queen/Pricess was or if Sombra status in the Empire prior to his coup d'etat) I find that elements for the comic should be incorparted into MMBB. I always try to keep the story up to date with existing canon unless the canon contradicts something that's already been established in my story.
For example, Shing Armors friends from highschool were included to show just how obsseive Chyrailis grudge against the Sparkles is. That and I really liked those characters.
This time however, an element of my story I already had planed gets and upgrade. Originally, I was going to use those "manquin" ponies as the bulk of Sombra's Army he will use latter on i the story (Based of the creates that appear from the cover art I borrowed for the story. Those faceless things with black goo.) However, I doubt Sombra would sacrifice the whole Crystal populace into an army of Zombies. The comic, however, has given me a new option of where Sombra can amass a force that can be capable of combating the forces of Celestia and Luna.
For those who won't read the comic, I'll tell you what they are.

Having seen the book, I can say...oh hell yes people should read that. So much story potiental in that issue, the queen, the fate o hope (Either is Cadence's ancestor or is an acnestor of one of the mane six) Sombra's love for hope, and so much more. I am only feeling down that this comic might outshine the other comics.
2961709 This was defiantly a great surprise and IDW should defiantly get this writer to wright for the main series (Even though Andy and Katie are the best team). This story was far better than any fan fiction. I felt so freaking bad for Sombra, and at the same time hated him for what he does at the end. I have the Terik one sitting in my dorm room right now and will read that next.
And of course I think the Chyrails one..

I'll agree, this was an excellent comic and you should totally use the [censored] as Sombra's troops.
Sadly, I didn't think the Tirek one was quite so good. It doesn't show why he is the way he is, just basically a younger him getting the idea for his plot in the series.
2961886 Well, I'm sure I'll find some enjoyment of the the Tirek one. This first villain comic is going to be tough to beat that's for sure. Can't wait for the rest.
I'm glad you like my idea to use the blank in the story. Also, I only about five or six weeks left of school so unless I forget I should be able to get to one cracking on one of your fics.
