Today I realized it was stupid to have my username be Garbo802, when I just wanted to be called "Garbo", and when the username Garbo is free (and has been for the last two and a half years I've been here). So after years of stupidity, I've decided to drop the numbers off of my username and just go by Garbo. Yeah. Also, I did an all-afternoon writing session this past saturday and got 1500 words done on the last chapter of Fool In The Rain. So that should be done by this weekend, then it'll get edited and stuff.
The only downside to name-changes is that prior links to your 802 will now turn up unfortunate 404's for those folks. Might want to go and have any pre-reading or editing credits fixed accordingly.
Happened to me when I changed to DtS last year. That collab fic I did with Kaidan still links to my old name, which brings you to a 404 >.>
Shiiiiet, it's been a whole year now, hasn't it? And nobody's gotten the bounty yet :V

I did consider that. There's only one link I really want to be changed, and that's on the spikedash collab I did that got like 700-odd upvotes. I've done a lot of proofreading work and I've gotten credit through links, but it's really not that important to me. If I really needed to, I could just use an alt to redirect people, though I probably won't since it's against the rules and all that.
