Rainbow Rocks review

So I watched Rainbow Rocks today. It was okay: more or less just an hour and 20 minute episode. Plot was pretty typical and kind of stretched out. Sunset Shimmer kind of got some character development, which makes me disappointed they didn't really do anything with Flash. Other than that, it really didn't add anything to the characters, which is part of the reason that I don't consider EQG to be canon (at least not in my story universe). I did like the songs, though: Under Our Spell and Battle were both pretty catchy. And the animation and voice acting were all up to the high standards that Hasbro has set.

But in any case, it was more or less just another episode to me, one that I more or less choose to ignore. I enjoyed it, but probably wouldn't watch it again.
