...to those who wait.
Well, I don't like social media, and I'm not going to be posting many blog posts. However since some people have, for reasons unknown to me, decided to follow me; I felt it was only right to say that I am planning another story.
Tower of the West was a bit of a test run that really I wrote for myself to see if an idea worked. I quite like it, in fact I even favourited it; which probably sounds a little self-absorbed. My favourites tend to be stories I like that I can read again and enjoy on subsequent readings; as well as bringing a smile to my face: even if it's a dark humour sort of smile. Anyone who is any type of artist knows that generally a work is never finished, and often not even liked by the creator; so to say that I like that story is real and not just an empty epithet.
Since I did like it, I want to carry on the story. I have a rather large google drive document that has all sorts of plans and information written all over it in glorious chaotic fashion that serves as a proposed outline. Sadly I also understand that my time to write such things is limited, and I'm not sure if I want to actually post the chapters until the thing is complete.
Something will come eventually but it may be a while. I have a lot of planning to do for the events that I run in real life: particularly the 2016 BUCKcon. Yes it really does take over a year to plan a pony convention; and this isn't the only event we'll likely be running between now and then.
So... keep an eye open, but please don't expect anything soon. I'd much rather manage to get what's in my head on paper in the best way, than crank out some poorly written chapters for the sake of it. After all, I'm really writing this for me.
