It's coming! · 2:19am Feb 26th, 2015
So, after a brief (ahem) stumble in the way of writing, I have a few things to share regarding this story.
1. It's not dead. Proof:
That's for Chapter 6, and I've been adding about 1000 a day to it for the past few days.
2. This will be the longest chapter yet, as it reaches up to the final turning point, but doesn't go past, and starts the final bits of a number of sub-plots.
3. Yes, I am deliberately teasing all the Twi Shipping, but I'm also not teasing for the sake of teasing. These friendships are not so far outside the norm, even if they are unusually close.
4. (Unrelated to The Last Vacation)
I've started writing a new story, and have close to 20k words written for it (not the one with all the world building blog posts, but in the same universe.) It's an as yet unnamed Lyra/??? romance story - ??? because I don't want people to get the wrong idea. There is a different interpretation of both Lyra and Derpy (named Bright Eyes for the story) and it is a sort of continuation of the Ghost of a Rose universe, set before the incident that the entire story of Ghost revolved around. There is also a Bright Eyes ship in there that will be explored in a side-story or a side-plot in the story (I haven't decided yet).
I've been world-building for Darkest Before the Dawn, Daughter of the Sun, and other stories in the same universe (the unnamed story that I'm setting in the far past is one such).
