Hiring: Editor and Proofreaders for 1000 Mares · 9:52am Feb 20th, 2015
Hi all!
So, the good news is, Chapter 9 for 1KVM is done! Bad news is, my current editor is a little bit, um, missing. I hope it's just mid-terms or something (though knowing me, he's probably fed up with me and my horrific work ethic).
Anyway, I don't have enough confidence to release chapter 9 as is, and I've been hoping to get a few more pairs of eyes to help look at chapters before release anyway, mainly to get more opinions on story direction, plot, that sort of thing. In short, I need more people to catch me and slap me on the wrist before I turn the Overdude into a Gary Stu or write the next My Immortal or something apocalyptic like that. The more opinions, the better.
So while Dumbgamer has been (and still is) everything I could have ever wanted in an editor (and more), in his current absence and for the foreseeable future I am looking to expand my editorial staff a little to include a second editor and one or two proofreaders. As I've probably insinuated in previous author's notes and blog posts, I'm a very difficult and whimsical author to work with. My busy working life makes my update schedule and feedback speed quite erratic. But if you can put up with that and my zany writing and you feel like getting involved, please send me a PM. I would prefer someone with some experience editing/proofreading/writing and would love to see some examples of your work, but I promise I'm not choosy! Especially not when I'm pleading for favours!

What work ethic? That you update erratically? Just out of curiosity though as this might also answer some other people questions on their decisions.

I'll give editing my favorite story a shot, i've edited for people before so i have some experience. but i'll only edit if you've got it on google docs otherwise it's a pain in the ass.
