Yes, yes I did.
Okay, there's a big thing about this fic that I'm guessing will spawn one thousand of epileptic trees (or would if I had that many readers) and that's is Sonata Dusk's presence.
Well, I toyed with multiple ideas around what universe is this. My first auto-impression was that this was an amalgamated universe between FiM and EG. But that would totally reformat the EG's movies so hard that I would lose a lot of time and space explaining how does that works.
The second try gave back the idea that this was, in effect, the EG's earth and Human!Trixie had a career as stage magician with a similar debacle to Pony!Trixie's one with the Ursa. Again, the same problem, it would take long explanations on how does that works in a world without magic since P!Trixie's fall from grace is all about magic (it would also pwns the cold open scene with the Alicorn OC).
Finally I decided to go with a simpler answer, here it is (MUSIC! please):

Okay, okay, okay, a little more of development won't hurt anyone.
After the Battle of the Bands fiasco, the sirens lost the last bit of magic they had, rendering with nothing else but immortality. Not in a cool Wolverine way, but in a more "I don't wanna live! *bang!* oh right, I'm immortal now. F*ck."
With literally nothing to lose and all the time in the world, The Dazzlings became despaired to, at least, go back home. So, they gave a shot to the only thing they've never tried in countless centuries; apologize and ask nicely.
The Dazzlings: We're sorry we tried to brainwash everyone and take over the world.
Sunset Shimmer in representation of Equestria's interests: I don't know.

SS: Hnnng-- Okay, okay, just-- never do that again.
Adagio: So, can we go back to Equestria?

Now, the headcanon here is that, even without evil magic of evilness, the sirens' physiology is very above the equine peak. Basically, they became the following math:

So, in a situation very similar to Trixie, they decide to give the 'hired gun' angle a try. After various missions with varying grades of success (from Crowning Moment of AWESOME! to total fiasco) they got enough money and decided to settle down and enjoy themselves in Las Pegasus. They still take one or two hits, but not frequently. Meanwhile Sonata met Trixie during a very disastrous mission where Trixie saved Sonata's life.
After that, Sonata decided to work with Trixie (offering experience and some previous contacts of the Dazzlings) and live with her while Adagio and Aria are provably in a penthouse, deciding which wine take next.
Adagio Dazzle a.k.a. Deathstroke the Terminator

Taking her position as leader of the Dazzlings very seriously, Adagio decided to become an example for her 'sisters' by training harder than any of them, practicing with every weapon she can and taking her time to study all she could about technology and tactics. Adagio Dazzle is a swiss army knife of a mercenary and a living legend among others. In her prime, her sole name was enough to scare an entire room of ponies.
While Trixie makes ten thousand bits maximum, Adagio wouldn't even leave the bed for anything under that. Actually retired.
Aria Blaze a.k.a. Black Manta

After all that happened to them, being banished, stripped of any power and finally left alone, Aria has a lot of inner rage. A. Lot. Being a mercenary had given her a surprisingly therapeutic relief. Vicious and more in it for the action than the money, there's little on earth that can stop her from accomplishing a task, the smartest thing to do around her is to not make her angry. Only Adagio can keep her in line and focused.
Although she's competitive enough to try keeping up with Adagio's training regime, Aria relies more in her gear and technology. Don't get it wrong, she can still kill someone unarmed, but she would prefer to use a knife. Retired.
Sonata Dusk a.k.a Killer Moth

The only one of the three of them that doesn't take thing seriously. She could be also the most dangerous of them... if someone's turns the T.V. off.
Seeing life from a more optimistic point of view (in contrast with Adagio's perfectionism and Aria's cynicism), she took the mercenary work as a game she can play when bored. Although she didn't trained or studied in any major way, Sonata not only can keep up with Adagio and Aria, but if there's a good motivation she would more than likely surpass them without even trying. This doesn't mean she's the most competent, since her attention span is microscopic, she has problems to focus enough to be a serious threat. Basically, she just want to have fun and be with her sisters.
After they retired, Sonata still continued taking minor hits since it 'amused her'. One of these went south when she got captured by a drug cartel. It could have been Sonata's end if it wasn't for Trixie's presence, that ended with Sonata's captors dead and the siren swearing eternal friendship to Trixie. Because of this, Sonata moved downtown with Trixie, but still stays in contact with Adagio and Aria.
Okay, there you got. I think I made enough backstory to focus myself into the main plot by now.

On a more serious note, I am liking what you're doing with the sirens and incorporating them in the DC Universe with the roles they play. Similar to my Smash Bros fic. Insert self-praise here. I am seeing a whole range of possibilities for their characters. Mostly, Sonata Dusk as Killer Moth. Keep it up!

Well, since Mark Waid's Flash it's been some kind tradition that retired villains become mercenaries, so I extended Trixie's concept as Deadshot to Sonata and, consequentially, to Adagio and Aria. In the double A's case, I went for straight serious characters like 'stroke and Manta, but with Sonata I tried a more lethal joke character. In the comics, nobody takes Moth seriously, but he has went toe to toe with the Bat; Sonata goes in the same line, lighthearted and not too serious, but could fight any of her sister to a standstill and even win if she wanted.

Well, not technology in a 'magitec' sense, but since Aria/Manta is not as disciplined as Adagio/Deathstroke, she has to rely more in gadgets and weapons than the latter. I went for Manta because I needed a 'second best mercenary after Deathstroke':
Deadshot: Already taken.
Merlyn: Too similar to Deathstroke, and too OOC for Aria.
Ravager: Too obscure, even for me.
Black Manta: Hey, well known, fitting personality and even has the ocean theme.
