"A wave of pleasure washed over her body." "Waves of pleasure flowed through his body." Describing and orgasm or lesser sexual stimulation as a wave of pleasure has become rather old hat; and I'm just as guilty of it as anyone.
There are plenty of substitutes for pleasure: "bliss, euphoria, joy."
The hard part was finding a substitute for wave. A quick Google search found me several good options.
Instead of 'wave,' work in one of these underused words into your next clopfic: "chain reaction, convulsion, swell, gush, ripple, surge, undulate, rush, torrent, cascade, deluge, eruption."
Variety is the spice of life. When you use the same 'spice' over and over to describe the greatest high the body can produce, it gets a little mundane. Hopefully this will help any aspiring writers out there. Thanks for reading!

Which reminds me of that fic in which Twi writes a book which is totally clop but in nerd terms and then she reads the cloppiest chapter before her parents, princess celestia, cherliee, the school class and hundreds of ponies. The whole entire chapter. With all the pervy stuff in nerd terms. And ofc the protagonists in her book where she as adorakable bookworm, RD as cool guy, Rarity as sexy mare. It was an awesome read. Maybe i should read it again.
