Encouragement · 6:44am Feb 7th, 2015
Today, I had someone tell me they liked A World Apart, and eagerly await the next chapter.
I think, and somewhat understand why, that people often think "oh no, I don't want to bug the author." I'm not sure what authors don't like to feel appreciated, but I'm not one of them. A little encouragement like that honestly goes a very long way in motivating me to keep going. If you like it and want more of it, say something. It really means something to hear that.
On that note, life is crazy right now. I mean, people are always calling themselves busy, but I've literally been doing classes and homework or preparing for them since I woke around 830 this morning, until about an hour and a half ago, when I sat down and reviewed my current draft for the next chapter of A World Apart.
I really can only do so much, though, before I get so tired I'm spacing out staring at the screen. So I'll do what I can, but know that a little encouragement really goes a long way.
Does that mean you want us to message you every week and tell you how our souls are slowly getting crushed by the wight of the world and we're waiting for you to re-inflate them with your life giving pages? Cause that's about how often I look for your story. (And I might give an uncharacteristically foalish squeal when it comes out.)
Just don't kill yourself getting it out. Both for your own sake and that of the story, we're rooting for you.

Yes :p
And thanks!
Yeah, this week has been particularly crazy. I'm really far behind in one of my classes and catching up has been eating my time. As I type in-between assignments, I've been working for about 14 hours straight, and tomorrow isn't looking so much better. Once I'm caught up, I should have a few hours each day to write. Hopefully.
2813574 Heh, I'm kinda glad I'm not the only one with that problem.
Good luck, and I look forward to hearing that you beat it out.
I probably sound like a broken record but I really am anxiously awaiting your story.
