Announcements... and something special! · 7:48pm Jan 31st, 2015
Hey! I'd like to start off with apologizing for how late this chapter was. I tend to second-guess myself all the time, and it didn't help that many things had to happen at this point in the story. On top of that, I ended one college semester, then was caught up in the holidays, and I've just started yet another semester! So life's pretty busy. But I've got a few announcements in regards to Kickin' Flanks.
1. At most there will be two more chapters, plus an epilogue. My guess is they'll still be long, like around the length of chapters 8 and 9. So that's, bare minimum, 90 pony-filled pages you'll get to read, and I'll procrastinate on writing!
2. Once the fanfic has ended, I'll post one more section: a "chapter" of deleted scenes and outtakes! There's an alternate way that Applejack and Rainbow Dash had entered the top floor of Manehattan Correctional, a version of Twilight's escape, and probably more to come. I'll also pepper in some commentary as well to explain why I made different decisions.
3. After the outtakes have been posted, I'll probably want to write something that isn't even close to being as plot-heavy. And once that's done, I plan on writing a sequel - with the main character as 'Derpy'! It's a lot on my plate, but I want to do it, and the only way to become a better and faster writer is to simply write more.
