And on a brighter note than self-entitled bigots: (prior journal) Are you a fan of PH, but found the original a little "lacking" per se?
If that lacking was in terms of a more "everyone's fucked up" wasteland, where the mares aren't (sexual) moral saints with a code of honor to not rape or whatnot, I might have something for you.
I found out that Project Horizons had some inconsistencies, and apparently unintended one sided content here and there. And after I (or rather, a friend for me) talked about it with Somber they gave me permission to do my own edits since they didn't have time in the official release, along with wanting to have said official release as a memento that "they can do better". I've begun to revise this widely popular fic. Currently lacking proofreading, so I will admit: It's not as crisp in that area as it could be. But so far the response have been positive for breathing more life into prior stale gender roles in the fic. But also some quirked brows on some sloppy out occasionally out of place extra edits. Also, with the habit of being a clop writing innovator, (and then I just mean in clop. And not in any way I'm better at it, I just happen to have a knack for inventing, coming up with or revising stuff :P) this fic doesn't wait around 20-33 chapters to dare getting graphical xD
It's not porn by any means, but it fleshes out on the already adult parts of PH. And to those that wonder: Yes, all the prior (according to the forums) ~eh actual "clop" scenes will be touched up upon.
Another major change is that I'm swapping from movie zombies to fallout ghouls. But yeah, I guess if you like PH, and my style, or just want a little different take, then you could give it a look.
Still, 99 % credit of this is still Sombers, I could not have gotten the chance to do this without their permission, or them overall as they wrote this.
I would honestly have liked to fix the same major flaw in FoE as well, but Kkat turns out be a bit more of a hermit. (and if rumors are to be believed, it'd also cramp their fetish...)

And would keep their original, as it will remind them how they can do better.

4: Actually, a few of the original proofeaders, and a couple on the official PH discussion thread has said the (primary) edits have been really great. Patches up the plot holes and flesh out the story further. As said, only real "eh" I've gotten has been some experimental adjustments elsewhere. Like, making BJ more like Somber wish her to come off as has proven really difficult. Mostly as she early chapter directly contradicts Sombers spoken wishes of how they see her. (like that she's a complete, utter sub sexually, mainly caring about their partners pleasure) So been trying to clear stuff like that up. Continuity issues and what have you. Things that go against themselves, or conflict later in the story when a character makes a 180 personality swap or acts ooc because plot convenience.
5: The original FoE had two fatal derps in it's story: No female rapists. And the bs "Oh yeah, I forgot the stronger levitation unicorn in the wasteland could levitate stuff!" cop out. If I cba, I would fix those points. But they're too asocial, derpy (on account that, they instead of helping one of the 5 rpg's being made for FoE, they just stole the base of one of them, then made their own out of that.) and might dislike their fetish fuel being removed for me to bother contacting them.
6: Still beats the half assed "I only know how to do one thing, but people have too low standards to notice I'm just replacing the names of the characters of the fic I keep rewriting!" I'm at least trying to contribute with something. And having invented/revamped 6+ fetishes. I've at least done a shitton more than those haphzard "slap tits on a guy, profit" people.

First of all, I'm really impressed at how well you know Blackjack as a character. I mean, you know her better than the author that wrote her and planned her personality. You must really resonate with Somber and Blackjack to be able to accurately predict exactly how she was supposed to have been written. Well done. You're a credit to your species. Thank goodness I can now read the story knowing that Blackjack is more accurately portrayed as sexually submissive now. As we all know, that was the primary purpose of the story.
And you know, I see your point about the original FoE. When I was reading that story, you know what my main thought was? It was "Huh, I really wish there was more rape. I feel like there isn't enough rape." Some might think that constant mentionings of sexual assault are irrelevant to the overall story and could quite possibly be unappealing or outright disgusting to the reader, but you... You're a visionary, aren't you? A true innovator with a dream. A utopia where both stallions and mares both rape freely and equally with no bigoted authors to say otherwise.
