You know what's kind of hard to come by? M/M fics. You know what's pretty rare? Good M/M fics. You know what's almost impossible to find? A good M/M fic with clop, romance, and (some) story.
That particular unicorn (you know, real-life unicorn anyway) happened to show up in my feed earlier. It's not a perfect story, but what story is? It's already quite competent, especially noteworthy since it's only the author's second fic, so I'd definitely say it's worth checking it out. Frankly, it deserves more attention than it's getting (the curse of stallion-stuffing fics, it seems.)

I keep looking at that story's page though. I generally don't like stories that ship Shining with anyone other than Cadance, unless Cadance is involved on some level, yet I like (good) Soarin' shipping, and it's hard to find a story that ships him with somepony other than Rainbow Dash to boot.
Hmm, Soarin' Flash Slash, that might be interesting...

I, too, like Soarin being involved in... well almost anything, really. He and Thunderlane are my favorite pegasi (which one I like more depends on the day). SoariDash is nice but it's just too 'expected' at this point, know what I mean?
Also, Cadance actually is involved. Remember that 'emotion' aspect? She's a pretty big part of that. Now, as far as the sex goes she has no involvement, but it does take place with her 'blessing' more or less. So it's not cheating so much as a 'one night only' situation.
Ha. Maybe I could throw in some futa and foalcon to make it the most heavily downvoted story in fimfiction history.

Poor Flash... He's not THAT bad. I think the real problem is that they gave him a character, just not very much. A background pony has potential for fan development, while main characters get lots of character building and attention. Flash is just, bland... Still, with a little TLC from a good author/writer, he could probably be a good character.

Speaking of Thunderlane, I have gotten to liking LaneDash, and Flutterlane a bit lately.

He's cursed by being a waifu-stealer and a mostly undeveloped personality. People come up with all sorts of reasons to hate him, really.
Personally I think people are biased. There are plenty of ponies without personalities that don't get downvote biases. Flash gets it just by existing.

Well, as we all know, there is no greater crime than waifu stealing.
Even if his little bit in Rainbow Rocks were he asks about Twilight for what, I gather from the Rainboom's expressions, is probably the millionth time, is actually kind of adorable.

To be fair, it's not like there's a lot of stallions in the show, and the ones that are seen never interact with each other.
