3404336 that was quick. also if I ever get off my lazy ass and write something I am totally going to shamelessly steal a couple of the lines in this story.
Also the scars scene seamed a little out of character I would of thought he'd start flexing soon as he's shirt was off if only to ruin the emotional jazz the ponys were going through.

That might have happened were they simple scars, but these carry to many memories with them. He doesn’t like them nor cares to show them off. Besides no amount of flexing could make them look good, at least in his opinion. He doesn't have the energy to play this memory off. It’s the only subject to which he'd answer, "I'd rather not talk about it" when pressed.
And if I ever get off my lazy butt and finish this thing, I'd be more than happy to let other writers play around with Ike's Strain (note: not universe, Ike operates on a larger scale than that) especially once all the rules are in place.
3405122 yea I understand that he doesn't like or down right hates his scars, but what I'm saying is that he has had no other character flaws that I have seen other than he's a bit of a show off. Also I bet he hesitated cos the girl he loved betrayed/got captured and he couldn't kill/let her die.
