Synesthesia

A new story just went up: Club Vinyl. Technically it’s a sequel to A String Wedding, but that’s largely irrelevant. You could read it without being familiar with any of the earlier troubles I put Octavia through. This adventure clocks in at a little over nine thousand words, split over six chapters. I’ll post a new one every day or two.

I almost always write with music playing in the background, and it’s usually a mix of electric stuff, classical, and jazz. For this story, though, I couldn’t get anywhere unless I was listening to dubstep. I had to buy more halfway through so I could finish the story. That should tell you something; I’m not sure what… but something! If it was within my power to give one of my stories a soundtrack, this would be the one.
