I might sell hand bound books · 3:22am Jan 2nd, 2015
So yup, I learned how to hand bind my own books and they're absolutely amazing. I don't have very good quality paper or anything, but they're my favorite thing to write/draw in.
They lie super flat (on every page) and they look nice and ohmygosh I love them so much. they're about the size of a paint can and 1 inch (ish) thick
So anyway, I was wondering, if you wanted to buy one, how much would you pay?
like $10 dollars?
(I'm too lazy to upload pictures so just use your imagination)
Cool!
why would i want to buy that
2695540 because I'll pay you if you do
That's great. Out of curiosity what are your books about?
2696173 they're just notebooks
like for writing and drawing in
2696184 Oh well that's cool, I got a cousin who might need something like that later in her life.
I would buy that if I had money...it sounds awesome!
Since I don't know the quality of the paper, or the price, I would suggest to put on something like 10% of the material cost on top, to cover the work you put into it.
Aside from the paper, I imagine you have something for cover aside from the materials you use for binding the book?
I may bot be the expert on book binding, just have a little experience in the process.
If you are going in for a sale, you could give a few options for what paper you put into it, the cover and possibly how the book is bound?
When you can make quantity, you could save on materials, since you would buy in bulk, rather then minimal packages that commonly are more expensive.
