I'm not sure I can have a happy holiday anymore.
You see, I have an old German Shepard. His name is Patches, and he only has three legs, but he's still the softest giant around. He gave us quite a scare lately....... I came home from a drive, only to realize he wasn't at home. My mother said he was having problems breathing, and it was serious. I was devastated. I don't want to loose my buddy..... 
We went to the pet hospital to see him, and it was just awful. Yet he still managed to wag that bushy tail, even though he looked like he was suffering........
