I... honestly didn't get too much done for TLS lately. I really want to work on it more, and when I did get a chance to write, it was really fun to write. But... just between all this school stuff and my parents, I just... I feel really pathetic for saying this, but it's been really getting me down. It's demotivating me to the point that I just... laze about on YouTube or video games just trying to feel... feel something. *sighs* I know it's a shit excuse, and there's only around 1.5k words done toward the next installment so far. Just... I'm trying. I really am. And I'm sorry.
I just want to thank all of you for putting up with me. I've really slowed down with how often new installments come out. It's like every two or three months for every new installment, and a long arc is taking even longer than a result. But you've always been reading, giving me feedback- and some of it is excellent critique. Even if you bring up stuff you don't like, I value that you guys look deep enough to find the flaws and show them to me so I can better improve my writing. It's that in-depth stuff that I crave. And it's stuff like that that keeps me wanting to write.
Well... here's hoping this is going to be a more productive new year. Wishing you all a Happy Hearth's Warming, everyone. Be well.

It may be a shit excuse, but it's a reasonably shitty excuse. I, myself have a similar problem; I can't recognize my emotions. I can feel them fine, but there's a... Barrier between my conscious mind and my body. I could be crying but on the inside I'm bored.
As a lot would say in this fandom, quality over quantity. We see in the show what there happens when they rush themselves too much, and you do too often see what there happens with other writers when they rush themselves, so take the time that you need and make the best result.
Roam was not built on one day, and neither was this story. It have a strong foundation, a strong fanbase, a strong support of pre-readers and art givers and all the other things one could wish for, it will not crumble just because it stands out in the wind and rain for a little while before the next segment is done Adder.
Beside that, when all come to all is this a hobby and something that should be fun, both for us and you. A hobby can you not earn money on and live by, an education on the other hand...
