Hello FiMfiction!
You might be mildly interested to know that my first fic 'My Family and Other Equestrians' had its one year anniversary yesterday. On this day last year, it had lest than 50 views and a mere handful of likes and comments. I hadn't even met Sidetrack back then.
Sweet Celestia it was an awful piece of writing! Even the mod who passed it down voted it. I really do see this as one big learning curve for me, and you can probably see it as you progress through the fic. But as I continued, I got feedback, found proofreaders and steadily improved.
I never even intended it to last this long. I mean, we're getting up to 70 chapters at this point! I figured it would be a short first go to see if I was any good. Yet, here we are, getting on for 200,000 words and I've made the feature box twice.
Still no clue how that happened.
Anyway, as I often say in these blog posts, thank you to everypony who has helped out on this fic, and to all those who read it. Even if you thought it was a load of self insert rubbish.
