Hello everyone.
Just a quick line to say I'm still alive, to wish you all a belated merry Christmas and a happy new year. Here's hoping that things will now finally start to get better and return to some sort of normalcy.
On the writing front, to quote a certain beloved and yet hated hero/villain; 'I have a plan'. I've got a few ideas bubbling away either fully planned out or in the early-mid phase.
I am going to temporarily shelve my idea for a story based around a mailpony, just until it gets quieter at work. Otherwise it will feel like I'm living in a never ending world of postal delivery. But as I get more time to write, I do plan on a couple other ideas. I've got a new slice-of-life HiE planned out, with a bit of a twist, and I've also got an idea for a sequel to 'Tinker, Tailor, Pony, Spy', so expect more pony Garak in the near future. Finally, I'm also toying with a short story looking at Shining Armor, seeing what it's like being the older brother to the Princess of Equestria.
Of course, with the January sales looming, life in Royal Mail is probably going to keep me busy, but I will do my best to get something out as soon as I can.
Anyway, merry Christmas, enjoy New Year's, and remember that old adage of Top Gear.
Still...could be worse.
