Update Tonight

    Hey everypony,

I'm back. And back writing too. I've finally found some energy and inclination to get back into writing, and have managed to hash out three more chapters of 'Crossing the Rubicon'. Expect sporadic updates, starting tonight.

    New Year, New Problems

    Hello everypony,

I hope you all had a great Christmas and decent start to the new year. I figured it made sense to update you on what's going on at the moment.

Well, my new year hasn't exactly got off on the best of starts. I'm going to be starting a new job next week, and it means that I'm finally going to move out and have my own place.

New Year, New Problems · 6:14pm Jan 5th, 2023

Hello everypony,

I hope you all had a great Christmas and decent start to the new year. I figured it made sense to update you on what's going on at the moment.

Well, my new year hasn't exactly got off on the best of starts. I'm going to be starting a new job next week, and it means that I'm finally going to move out and have my own place.

On the one hand, I should be happy and excited, but honestly, I'm more nervous and worried, to the point where I thought about refusing the job offer altogether. I've never really been away from home before, and it means moving out of the countryside to a major city. Add to that, that the job also involves a distance learning university course that runs alongside it for the first two years, and I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed.

I guess I could just use some encouragement from you guys.

On the plus side, I am still writing, albeit I haven't had as much time as I'd have liked over Christmas. Between the new job, sorting out the rental (which was a bucking nightmare) and organising moving down there over the new year, I haven't had much of a chance to sit down and type. Frankly, my head's not been in a good place for it.

Anyway, it all starts next week, and hopefully, once I get started it won't all seem quite so challenging.

Best new year wishes to you all in any case, and I'll do my best to update my stories when I can.

i will be the first one too tell you change is scary and big change is terrifying.
trust in your self and keep your eyes open.
you are at the time in life were you are going to learn so much and start to go places.
i had the chance years back to go back to school for free and turned it down Oh boy was i wrong.

i am betting that you have this all in hand.
take one problem at a time and you will get threw them and keep your eyes on the big picture.

ROOMMATES

Pro & Con

The typical roommate is like Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde. Periods of benevolent behavior intertwined with periods of malign behavior.

I remember that I had a roommate whose girlfriend....well, let's just say that I kept expecting someone to drop a house on her.

Still, it's helpful to have someone other than your parents to give you bad advice & loan you a little $ until payday. (At the cost of sometimes loaning them money. )

But, under NO circumstances should you have more than one. Just cut out the middle man & commit yourself to an insane asylum.
