Project List

Took an extended break, and decided to reorganize my project list.
By priority:
1. AFO
2. Actias Chapter 9/Sequel/Rewrite
3. Corn
4. Treble Town
5. AFO Sequel/Prequel
Now, sadly, that isn't the order everything's going to be finished in. When I come to a point in a story that I don't feel like I should write anymore for that sitting, I tend to move to another one.

1. AFO
If you're here, reading this blogpost, you already know that this is being done. Very slowly, but it's being done. The chapter I'm working on now (Fear 3) was very, very poorly written when I first tackled it. I don't know what was going through my mind at the time, but it was pretty... weird. I'm going to try to tone down the dark themes of it, and try to focus more on what was brought across. This is going to be "that" chapter. The big-lipped alligator chapter. Unfortunately, every single detail about it has an effect on everything in Pingpong, AFO, and Sirocca's Story.

2. Actias
I technically ended the original series at Chapter 8 after Actias's Anonymous left her and she traveled back to Treble Town. There was a sequel announced, and I've been working on it, but I haven't published anything for it. I'm going to write the entirety of the sequel before publishing it.
Actias Chapter 9 is a link-chapter, bridging the gap between A Moth's Song (Actias) and A Song In The Valley (the Sequel).
I'm also going to rewrite the original story sometime after the sequel is published. Fortunately, the sequel doesn't reference the original too much, and anything that needs to be explained will be explained in the first chapter.

3. Corn
I don't know how long this one's going to be. Probably five chapters, averaging ~2k words each. It won't be very long. It's really just supposed to be an exposition into a new character.

4. Treble Town
Treble Town, for those who haven't bothered to venture into my Pastebin, is a town created in Actias/A Moth's Song. After writing about it, and building on it, I decided that it was going to play out as a main center point for most of my stories.
Actias's story takes place directly in Treble Town, for the most part, save Chapter 8 and the sequel.
Corn takes place a little ways outside of Treble Town.
AFO's new ending is going to have Anon and Speck move there, as opposed to the mountains north of Hollow Shades.
Now, those of you that have ventured into my Pastebin, or even come here every so often from /mlp/, might be wondering, "But you've said AFO and Actias aren't set in the same universe."
And no. No they are not. Treble Town, at this point in time, is either going to be a sort of Singularity, or the Actias and AFO rewrites are going to work together to cram them into the same universe. I have a lot of ideas for how I can get the latter to work, but only one of them is actually feasible. It would have to be primarily factored into the Actias rewrite.
Even if I don't take that route, it's going to get its own story, where each chapter is the daily life of a pony that lives in the town. Characters already established in Actias and AFO will get special chapters, though won't be treated canonically in their respective stories. Think of it as a kind of Gaiden story to all of my other stories.

5. AFO Sequel/Prequel
Sirocca's Story and Pingpong won't be written until AFO's rewrite is finished. This is the lowest on the priority list, because I tend to jump between AFO, Actias, and Corn more than anything. I haven't even started on Treble Town itself, outside of Actias's story.
Part of Sirocca's Story is already written, but only the first arc, out of three. Like AFO, it's written in first person present tense. Unlike AFO, it doesn't feature perspective switches, or meta-writing.
