Wake up today to find that my newest We Remember Everything update only has 1 comment. Okay, must just need more time. So, now, half a day later, it has two. I guess that people must not have seen it yet—oh, 121 have so far? Well...
2/121...besides the way those numbers are funny together, being double blackjack and all, I can't help but feel let down. 
Usually by now I've heard from like 10 people, sometimes multiple times from each of them...but two? I don't expect every person to comment on everything, but it's sad enough when 10/200 comment. I actually like hearing what people think, believe it or not. Hearing what people think is funny or heartwarming lets me bring more of that to the table. But two? 
It's not like the chapter was short or anything. There's plenty to comment on. Same goes for any chapter or story I released recently!
Is it the psychological phenomena known as the "bystander effect", where if everyone else thinks someone is going to do something, then no-one ends up doing it since everyone assumes that? That'd make sense, but it makes it no less sad...
Thanks to the two who have commented, SilentMech and XaldinLance, though...
On a related note, I hate how the last thing said in a chapter comprises a great deal of what people talk about. I usually just finish with a random funny line or random bit I came up with on the fly, so when everything else is ignored in favor of it across all of my stories I kind of feel let down. I know it's the last thing before the comment box, but it doesn't make it any less disappointing...
Anyways, sorry everyone, but I just wanted to share...all my updates the past few days have been met with extremely lackluster viewership and commenting, especially compared to even mediocre times. Three stories, three updates in a row, not having the expected readers show up is just depressing. I already generally hate Mondays, but not too many have matched this level of disappointment before. 
Thanks to those of you who care and who actually read this...and thanks to those who silently support my writing. But it's the comments that keep my spirits up, and there were less than half of what I am used to across the board, and next to nothing for the story I put the most effort into.

Well I wasn't at school because I was sick, so I'd spent pretty much all day in bed.
Not actually reading that one, and if I were I couldn't guarantee a comment per chapter. I actually get lucky if I do comment on something, believe it or not.
