Happy Holiday with an Update · 1:33pm Nov 28th, 2014
Heya Everyone,
So I guess you could consider this "late," but I figured I'd go for updating everyone and wishing all my fellow Americans a Happy Thanksgiving (even though the day is technically over now) at the same time. Hopefully you all are having a nice, food-induced sleep, because for some reason, I was still awake past 2:30 in the morning after watching How to Train Your Dragon 2 and Hot Fuzz (both awesome movies). I just woke up to find that I had never posted this update...
Anyway, my final round of pre-conditioning chemo was a little rougher than I expected, but it was likely due to the cumulative effects of the previous rounds coming back and hitting me all at once. I'll admit, I'm a little nervous for the 10th, when I'm supposed to go in for the start of the transplant process (which includes the conditioning chemo and then the actual stem cell infusion— everything else is just recovery), but I have a few follow-ups with doctors that need to be done first. Maybe they'll lighten the anxiety a bit, or maybe they'll just make it worse, but I'll just have to see when I get there.
In terms of my writing and editing stuff, I did manage to finish my side story, but I'm sorry to say that you won't be seeing that for a little while. I'm working on Crimson little by little, but I'm having a bit of trouble getting exactly what I want written out of my head and down on paper. Hopefully I can figure this stuff out soon enough. When I do, I'll get to work with my editor and you'll hopefully see the next chapter before the end of the year (but as always, no guarantees). I'm trying to put my other collab stuff on hold until I get further.
I'll try to stay updated while I'm in the hospital over the holidays. At the moment, I'm still available for editing small one-shots unless I say otherwise. I'll try to keep that offer open while I'm admitted as well, as it would give me something to do with the free time, but if I find that the transplant is just taking too much out of me, I'll say something in my "What I'm Up To" box.
That's really all I can think of for now. I'll try to keep you all informed.

Well that's sucks that you feel like crap. I was forced against my will to stand in lines at Walmart from 3pm to 7pm. But, my friend was able to get the two TV's, two tablets, and two dvd players. I totally should have spiked the lemonade I had with me with some vodka though.
Anyways I hope your Thanksgiving was not all boring and bad. and that you got some better than usual food out of it at least,
