How to Train Your Dragon's amazing music · 3:51am Jun 22nd, 2012

If you've never seen How to Train Your Dragon then you really, really, really should do so. But you can (and should) safely play the videos below and listen to the remarkable music.

If you have seen HTTYD then play the first video and remember one of the cutest-without-being-sappy scenes in movie history, and be as happy as I am right now. Then play the second video and rock out. That triumphant music. I have chills. Then, if you're like me, play the first song over and over until you realize how many times it's been. Then play it one more time anyway.

I've watched the movie a few times, and I've always enjoyed the music in it.

yeah the music is great. one of the few movies i've forgiven for taking a new idea from a book

HTTYD was a good movie, even if not 100% original.

188895 Yup. And it's one of those movies where listening to the music away from the movie, then going back to watch it, reminds me of how well the music fits with the relevant scenes.
188927 Yeah, before I saw the movie I heard about all the changes from the books, and I went in a little miffed but hopeful. I'm glad I gave it a chance!
189101 Sure, nothing's original anymore really! But in this case, what are you referring to specifically?

Man, you made me wanna watch it again. :pinkiegasp: The movie was great, by the way. :pinkiehappy:

189558
IDR actually. :rainbowderp: It's been 2 years since I've watched it, but I remember seriously enjoying it, (like, close up there for best movie ever) and picking away at little parts I thought I saw coming from other things.

Maybe my memory's just clouded and I'm making things up or something. xD

189812>>190226 Yeah, HTTYD is definitely in my top five animated movies of all time. It might be in my top three, along with Wall-E and Iron Giant. Hmmm. Maybe!

190865
Wall-E was amazing. What's Iron Giant? *googles*
... :pinkiegasp:
THAT MOVIE! I haven't seen that one in forever! I barely remember it at all at this point! Something about a giant robot in a forest, and a big lake, and power lines, and everyone else being out to get the big robot. That's all I remember. :rainbowlaugh:

191314 It's on Netflix if you have that! Otherwise, well, find some way to rewatch it!

191381
Ooh, I have netflix. Gotta watch it now

192153 Write me a friendship report after you're done! :rainbowkiss:

192155
Alight, will watch tomorrow when the TV's free :D

HTTD has the best animation ive ever seen and toothless is adorable. yes it is my fav movie. ever.

its funny, i cant stand it when a movie is different from the book and i loved the book so that made me more unsure about going to see it but my little cousin convinced me to go see it and i was amazed at how wonderful it was. it was changed until the only thing the same was the names but both are awesome in their own ways:twilightsmile: i went to the movies to see it 4 times. it was that good

1028500 I hadn't read the book, but when I found out ahead of time that it was changed SO much from the book I was disappointed. As a writer, I got like... indignant on the author's behalf and shook my fist at Hollywood! ... Then I saw it and realized that the screenplay writers knew what they were doing and forgave them entirely.
