SITREP: The Corps and Veteran's Day · 9:38pm Nov 9th, 2014
Right so, lot's of stuff happening. What kind of stuff? Boring life stuff, which I know we all know about and experience.
But that's just an excuse; you all want info on the story, correct? That's why you're here!
So, next chapter: done, waiting to finish editing. Next chapter's going to take a bit because I'm working on a separate story set to come out in December; not so much in getting off track but an idea I had for ages that needs to be put into place now. It's a tribute story, and it needs to be out by a specific time.
Good news: I got a map of the continent on the way so everyone won't have to scratch their collective heads as to what the hell I'm talking about. When? Again, not too sure; whenever time presents itself. I've got the countries and everything positioned, just need to pretty it up.
And to the title meaning, we're finally getting the USMC writing in for this. Or rather, I finally got the storyline organized for it. So welcome our two new Jarhead writers:
Lance Corporal & Designated Marksman William Gillespie of the 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines created and written by Semper Fidelis!
LCpl. Robert Crane of Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines created and written by Hironoto!
Major apologies to these two for waiting so long, and thanks for being so patient. I actually worked these two out months ago, but, as I said, I needed to work out the storyline and get life out of the way. Still, thanks to them both.
And lastly, a couple days from now we will offer our thanks to our veterans everywhere, of each war and nationality. I'd make an entirely separate blog for that, but I think I may be busy that day. If so, I want to say thank you to all vets, both living and passed, for your sacrifice, and hope that I can follow your footsteps, so that your work will not falter.
Everyone have a good Remembrance Day.
(Also, I completely forgot to tag the story onto this )
