New Chapter Surprise

The latest chapter was posted today and has about thirty views. Not that surprising in and of itself, but what surprises me is how willingly everyone is taking Rainbow Dash, questionably the fastest Pegasus ever, losing a contest involving speed and agility to an earth pony. I'm not sure if it's because people are a lot more clever than I thought (a comforting thought), if people enjoy seeing Rainbow taking a metaphorical beating, or because it's so clichéd that it's expected. (To be honest, I was expecting a surprised reaction or so. *shrugs* Oh, well.)
