NaNoWriMo Draws Near! · 11:38am Oct 29th, 2014

Yup, writers everywhere decided once again that sleep is for the weak, and Nanowrimo is back again with its challenge to write 50,000 words in one month! This will be my first time participating in the actual event. Right now I'm thinking of writing a slice of life story around Derpy, Octavia, and Lyra, so my question is: Should I post this on Fimfiction throughout November?

I think it would help me to post daily chapters here, as it'd give me more incentive to keep going past the first week, which will make laughing at my second week failure much more enjoyable for you all. Plus it'd be nice to not go MIA for a whole month. However, all the chapters I post will be sloppy, unedited streams of consciousness (it's a quantity over quality challenge), and perhaps that's not the best thing to let the internet see, for you or for me.

So I don't know, what do you think? Let me know in the comments!

You know I'm heavily biased in your favor - I say go for it! Bite-sized chunks. Maybe 1,000 words a day. One scene at a time. You can do it! I'm confident in your storytelling - just look at As the Sun Rises and Eye Shadow!
