    Why are you here?

Logged into this page years later to find a recent comment on old work. That was a surprise. Who else is around?

    Ink On Life's Paper

[Note: ch3 of It's Not You They Fear has been edited and updated. 'Bout darn time.]

So I was gonna write some deep post about silver linings in pain and training hard for your struggles, but I realized the struggle for today was finishing those edits. Check it out if you have the time and boredom to do it. And here is an adorable picture of Luna in case you need to smile.

    Resurgence

Looking at the timestamps, it seems it's been nearly three months since I last posted on here. Life still has water on the ground and running down the sides of the streets, but the sun is shining once again.

    Forever and A Day

Well hello everyone, it sure has been a while. While I've put out a new chapter of The Long Road Home, this place hasn't seen a lot of other attention. I've been very busy trying not to leave any free time at all in my life to think.

    Steps

Once upon a time, a man much wiser than myself told me something. He said: 'We are what we do. The only difference between a writer and myself is that the writer picked up a pen or pulled up a keyboard, and wrote something.' I suppose that makes me many things. One of the easiest for me to see is running until I became a runner.

The Sequel! · 2:44am Oct 29th, 2014

...and I'm tired. Seriously. I just got a lot more hours at work, which would sound like a great thing, until I remember that I work for salary, not hourly. That, and poor sleep happens when weird dreams happen. I rarely, if ever remember my dreams, so I have to wonder what caused it. Perhaps the binge on researching relativity, or trying my first single-malt scotch were the culprits, but all I know is that I'm a zombie. See below if you're confused.

That would be accurate to myself if she were lying in a pile of guitars, but guns are nice too. Anyways, I digress. I figure there has been enough time to vote on the sequel to 'But Duct Tape is Silver.' The tally comes back as 5 for foil, and 6 for plastic wrap, so unless I hear a massive argument the other way, it seems the next one will be with plastic wrap. I've got ideas already, and those aren't just from listening to my roommate stomp around in the kitchen and sigh -- I swear!

I feel like I ought to have something deep to say, but tonight is just going to be simple. I'd just like to extend my thanks to all the new folks that are here with me, following the mess I call writing. You're my motivation more than anything, and I'm not really sure how to properly express that gratitude. All I have are words, and more words. In the words of Hamlet:

'Words, words, words!'

Hope that's serious/silly enough for everypony. Have a good night!
