JAWWS Editing Process & Related Things. · 3:03am Oct 26th, 2014

So far so good and I feel good doing this.

First of all I have done the Prologue, Chapter 1 and I'm finishing up Chapter 2 and all I can say is that I'm surprised I'm not doing many changes. Well the prologue I did some changes. I fixed up a lot of paragraphs in the beginning so if there was new reader that stumbled upon my story or someone who hadn't read Summer at the Farm for a very long time they can understand the backstory a bit more and can jump right into the story. So far I feel very content with what I have done so far. I am planning on posting all the newly edited chapters at once so that everything is there and such.

In other JAWWS related news, since I have been in a drawing phase for the last week I have decided to start drawing a new cover art for the story. Let's see if the second time's the charm. So far I have an idea of making the silver watch the central point of the drawing and add more as I go. I might be able to post the new pic when I'm done with the editing, everything will have a new look in the next month or so.

And lastly I have been surfing YouTube for Wild West music and I found a few good ones that sound great for JAWWS. (I wasn't looking for those western soundtracks from western movies, just inspired music from the wild west.) Here are a few I found that I felt gave the feel of JAWWS the most.

1) Old West Music- Western Cowboy Theme. (2:15) This was the first one I found. It just sounds like it was written for a title sequence doesn't it?
2) Wild Western Music- The Wild West by Derek & Brandon Fietcher. (3:29) This kind of music makes me think of Melody & Annie's first steps into Frontier City.
3) Epic Western Music - The Lone Wanderer: by Antti Martikainen. (5:40) I was blown away by this one, probably my favorite in this list. The music in this made me think about the finale chapters, Annie saving her friends and Canyon Run. Can you imagine it? (Now I'm going to listen to this guy's stuff. :pinkiehappy:)
Bonus) I can just imagine Rose and Melody playing this song together in the Sweetie Belle Tavern. :rainbowlaugh: I might write that in just for the heck of it. The King Clown: by Joseph Kiefer. (2:30)

Well that's that on JAWWS. I'm excited to post the newly done chapters when I get the story done, and I'll be working on a cover art for this story. Until next time.
