Well, I've been gone for a while... I was hoping that the snippet of ONAA would make me feel good about posting something, but it just makes me feel like I haven't done enough lately. I'm 850 words into the story's finale and I'm hoping I can get it done soon.
In the mean time, if you want something non-pony related, check out this thing I wrote forever ago: Trying To Sleep. There was a day I was terrified about showing off my real writing out in the open of my pony writing, but frankly... I don't really care (at the moment). Hopefully you guys enjoy it.
Thank you everyone for your patience. I'm hoping to get the finale out in the next two weeks, then begin work on finishing Man's Best Friend.
I promise I haven't abandoned any stories... I'm just doing my best to get them all knocked down one at a time. I bit off way more than I could chew by keeping so many stories going at once... and I'm paying the price for it. I'm sorry.

I just read Trying to Sleep, it's very grounded, definitely slice-of-life. I've never had insomnia, but when I've had trouble sleeping, you definitely captured the mindset, including the way self-doubt tends to creep in late at night.
