A little bit of fan-fiction for Sand Josieph's Carnival Cat that may slip its way into the next chapter.
Perhaps a bit of an update on that story before carrying on with what is below: I am only about 200 words into the next chapter. Why only that? School, mostly. However I am taking a creative writing class, so I should hope there should be a jump in quality next chapter *crosses fingers*. Not that I am submitting my fanfics for workshop for that class, and fanfiction is forbidden in that class... as well as several other genres. But, I hope to have this next chapter done before it slips from me like smoke.
Anyway.
Here is a song I wrote to the tune of "A Few of My Favorite Things" from the movie "Sound of Music" (which I have yet to actually watch). So it's met to be sung to that tune, though loosely, for as you will soon see that some parts are bit "off" as is intended. It's supposed to be a variation, so it takes some of that liberty in playing with the tune; I suggest when those parts come to go with what might sound best to add or subtract from those bit but still "work;" also, the song is supposed to "degrade" as it goes on, ending in a very messed-up, chilling, almost insane tone that still retains the uplifting feeling of the original. So. Something dark.
