The next installment will be released next weekend. My favorite pre-reader has described it as "mind-warping". Hopefully it doesn't disappoint.
Also, Rainbow Rocks. Excellent music. Intriguing antagonists. Pretty dark at times. The theme of competition in one's high school years is a deep one, I think. I couldn't help but notice that Celestia had thrown out her half of the magical diary she had used to communicate with Sunset Shimmer. Like her former top student and the special bond they used to have is so much useless junk to her now. Screw up once with Her Royal Highness, and you're done. To top it off, Sunset saves the day, but now reports to Twilight, who takes all the credit. Who's your mommy, Sunset? At least Celestia and her golden child allowed you to live.
