Still Not Dead!

I'm still not dead! Actually, I'm very much alive, otherwise I wouldn't be this tired. You may be wondering, 'oh great, what empty promises will she give now?' Well, I feel bad about that but I can't help it! And here is why:

For the past few weeks, I have been working 38 to 39 hours a week! at home depot, where you have to constantly move, shift, lift and think of solutions. I have gotten home exhausted each time and just crashed. I would be lucky to get one day off and I'd have to use that day for Girl Scouts instead. Things may start slowing down (they usually do in winter time) but I don't know how easily I'll be able to write.

Why you ask? Because I do a lot more than just writing. For example, on my last day off, I spent the entire time making web pages for local small companies who wanted them. I have to earn a lot of money because my car is breaking down among a long and expensive list of things I have to get to have a nice slightly comfy life. Also, Scouts has returned with a venegance. I'm going to have to cut back on some of what I do just because of work, but I still have a troop of roughly 10 girls who want to literally 'see the world' and go so far as to 'help congress', and they are third graders. They are very active at this stage and if I plan things right, I can keep that energy going for years to come.

Another reason why I won't be able to write pony stories as easily is because I'm actually well started on writing my first real story, one I hope to get published one day. It will be a decent length, with at least 5 books planned so far (I plotted out the whole thing, now I just need to write each chapter and the parts in between). I, funnily enough, still have Gwg helping with editing for it and I may be asking Bronco soon if he could take a look (though they are both rather busy with their own lives). It will be a teen/mature story but since I wouldn't want to give away any secrets/mysteries of it, I'll just say that it will have action, drama, intrigue, betrayal and lots of butt kicking. The first title? Green Eyes of Envy. Not sure how long it will take me to write it, but hopefully everything goes well for it and I can be a fully fledged author.

Also, boyfriend and I are still doing good, though we are both really busy with work. So when we do get time off together, that's just one more thing that would stop me from writing. But that's one of the happier parts of my day now, so I'm afraid that it will often come first, as rare as the moments are so far.

In total, still a strong brony, still loving ponies, but real life and even hopeful dreams have caught up big time. Making my time to write fanfiction all the harder. But please, keep a tiny eye out and don't fear any cancellations, for they will not happen.

2529377 Heheheheh, thanks I'm sure I'll make a corresponding blog when it does come out. I'll just go with the more positive for sure that it will, even if it takes a while.
