    That fic where...

Hey, to those of you that follow me, I'm wondering something. I've been looking for a fic where Twilight's talking about how the dragon egg test she took when she hatched Spike was an attempt at petty vengeance by one of the examiners against her father. The thing is, I can't find it, even though I'm sure it's a fic I read a while ago, and again recently. Do any of you know what fic I mean?

What Kind of Timberwolf Do You Want to See?

Alright, for my first blog post I am giving the ten or so of you who follow me a little treat. Those of you who have read chapter 3 will remember there is a wolf on the Acres. But is it flesh and blood, or wood and bark? Leave comments telling me what you want to see. Please be aware this will have an impact on the rest of the story, if only a minor one. Probably.

    Like when you fave, please

I have 54 faves, but only 39 likes. Why? Is there something wrong with liking a story when you fave it? I might get more attention if I had more likes, and there would be more people giving me feedback. Since this would allow me to improve my writing, it would be a win-win situation, wouldn't it? I'd get more attention, and you'd get better reading material. So how about those likes? Don't stop

What Kind of Timberwolf Do You Want to See? · 2:59pm Oct 5th, 2014

Alright, for my first blog post I am giving the ten or so of you who follow me a little treat. Those of you who have read chapter 3 will remember there is a wolf on the Acres. I started posting this story so that I could have feedback, and I always encourage insightful comments and advice. I do read the comments, and while the "Good job"comments are nice, they aren't as helpful as I had hoped. Maybe it's just the genre...anyway, this is my way of encouraging feedback and opinions. Leave comments and I will see what people want.

Who's to say that you can't have both?
After all, regular wolves have different breeds, such as those found in the European tundra and those found in the North American forestry.

2508620What I mean is, which one should this wolf be? Do you want me to have a mixed pack or something?

I'm agreeing with riku, have something that's some of both, have a flesh and blood wolf, but with the coloration of a normal timberwolf, as well as having it have leaves or something of the sort growing out of it like fur

:facehoof:I think there's been some confusion; I had ideas for either a Timberwolf or a Gray Wolf, but I think it would still work with a hybrid; I'm just not sure how to explain the existence of the hybrid, and I can't think of a way it would add to the story. What I meant by "mixed pack" was a pack that contained both regular wolves and Timberwolves. I could do that, if you want, but I don't know when the Timberwolves will come in. How does that sound?

I'm just concerned that the hybrid idea might come out weird. Also, the fact is I never even considered it, and while I appreciate feedback, it has to be my story. Does that make sense?

I wanted you to pick a trail for the story to go down, but you managed to add one. Maybe not the one you intended, but I'm glad I read your comments. It gave me a third idea I hadn't considered; a normal wolf adopted by Timberwolves. Pick that if you like.

2525543 I guess there was a bit of misunderstanding, and I didn't intend to change your story, and the Grey wolf being adopted by the Timberwolves sounds like a good idea as well

2525543 I was thinking Timberwolves are a magical by-product of...something...and took their appearance off what was the closest living creature, and live alongside them because they don't differentiate themselves.
As for hybrids, Wolves with plant matter plating instead of fur, except on the tails, legs and bellies.
