That fic where...

Hey, to those of you that follow me, I'm wondering something. I've been looking for a fic where Twilight's talking about how the dragon egg test she took when she hatched Spike was an attempt at petty vengeance by one of the examiners against her father. The thing is, I can't find it, even though I'm sure it's a fic I read a while ago, and again recently. Do any of you know what fic I mean?

edit: I found it. Turns out it was Spike talking. The story turned out to be Lies and Lyres by KingofBeggars. It's a SpikeXLyra shipping story.
