Yo Hoard. What's going on? It's been a while since I've been "active" on this site. You might have noticed that I haven't been writing as much for the site. That I've given up on the site and all. I'm walking away from it and giving up on fanfic writing.

Well...yes...and no.

Now, let me explain the yes before people start writing off me continuing fics that I haven't finished yet (though that's not stopping some xD). Over the summer, I finally realized what I wanted to do with myself, and in deciding that I wanted to focus on fulfilling these goals a little more. I've had people back me up, support me, even offer me opportunities that I didn't get a chance to have before. Because I'm trying to achieve my own personal goals and shape myself up, the updates have gone to a screeching halt. And overtime when I tried to update regularly something happened...

I realized that I was burnt of doing fanfictions. It felt like it was limiting my time to work on my own creative works, and limited my range. There is only so much that I can do writing about the adventures of purple dragon and friends. I could push boundaries but then I would ask, why not just do that with something you created yourself. Don't get me wrong, it was a fun occupation, but this was all this was to me. An occupation. I would rather spend my writing time on other things, and sorry to say, that's not going to change anytime soon. Not only that, but I don't wanna spam you all with over 100 shitty fics that I threw together for quick views in order to get a high status. I would rather write something meaningful and thought out, and guess what that takes: time. Time I could be spending working on my own projects.

Now for those who are concerned, there's a reason I said "no" to walking away. You guys deserve to see some of your favorites finished, and while I'm still burned out from writing a lot of these fics in general, I still love Lavender too much to just quit on it and let it die, and MSiaC was the first fic that ever got me some attention. Those were the fics that got me attention, made me improve my writing, and even got me a few friends I talk to (and some people that now probably hate me, but hey...we all have some right?). I would be doing you all a disservice for not finishing them. Also, I have fics that I have that I would like to share with you all, hopefully in the near future. With that said, Lavender, MSiaC, Shining Pair, Helping the Dweeb, MAYBE My Little Slave, and Remember When... will all be finished before my departure from the site. The other incomplete will be determined depending on if I feel the drive to finish them. Sorry if you're dissapointed, but this is what I've decided. Maybe I'll be swayed in the future, iunno.

I don't want to go into the boring details of what I'm doing, because I'm sure most are only interested in the progress of the stories I'm writing, but I will tell you what the next update will be, and relatively soon too... Lavender. More awkward Fizzle bullshit that you all know and love x3. Also, considering that Lavender is only really "halfway" through it's life, that means I'll still be held hostage for a while. I just might not update as fast as I used to. Sorry for this guys, but I hope you'll understand and be patient with me. Lavender coming up next. I'll stick around until most of the work is finished.
