Okay, to prevent hyperventilating I am very deliberately going to spend the next few hours doing something else, and NOT obsessively refreshing FiMFic every thirty seconds to see if my story has gotten one new view or favorite or thumbs-up. Breathe, Boo, breathe...
I do that all the time; I find it best to go to sleep or in some other way remove myself from the computer for a while before coming back, otherwise my sanity becomes at serious risk.
Happens to me too, yes. Not quite as obsessively but the same thing overall.
Yes. So much.
Ponies will be here when you return!
I'll read it once it's complete, i've been stuck waiting on a few fics before that never completed so i'd rather not repeat the experience.
Flip the story live while you're on your lunch break,
so that you neglect work and F5 Fimfic for the rest of the afternoonso that you can't check it.I do that too. So hard.
Not sure why, though, after the first wave of about half a dozen I maybe get one like or favorite every few months.

Can't blame you a bit, and I do apologize for my own contributions to that burned feeling.
I plan to release this story at a rate of one or two chapters a week (it looks to be coming in at around 20-25 fairly short chapters), so I very much hope and intend that it will be completed a good chunk of time earlier than it's published. I'll let you know when it's all written so you can choose whether to jump aboard or still wait till it's all published.
2511816 I got it on my read-later list but feel free to let me know once it's done.
I look forward to reading it.
