As you may know I've been mostly inactive, but all that's about to change. For you see, I have finished the first draft of chapter 13 of Of Night and Stone! :-D I'll hopefully be posting it sometime this weekend, so be prepared for that!
Speaking of things happening this weekend, most of you know that... ugh, the sequel to that movie which must never be named is coming out this coming Saturday, and are probably looking forward to me reviewing it. Well, as soon as a bootleg version appears on YouTube, I'll definitely take a look at it. I'd love to tear into that schlock-fest.
But I've discussed something with a few of my friends, a possibility that the movie might actually be good: if the main 6 loses the Battle of the Bands portrayed in it. Oh yeah, we all know that the main 6 will probably win the Battle by cheating turning into anthros and blasting the villains with rainbows. But suppose they actually lose the Battle. I think that it'd not only be unexpected, but it'd also teach little girls that they can't always get what they want, winning isn't everything, and as long as they have fun while doing it, it's worth it. Thoughts?

It's funny because another movie with a very similar premise to this is School of Rock, and that's probably my favorite battle-of-the-bands movie (and one of my favorite movies in a school setting). The ending is what cemented it as a good movie for me. That and the power of Jack Black.
